Served as principal systems designer for the Washington Commanders' broadcast production facility — an entirely vMix-driven build, designed to deliver broadcast-grade live production without the cost and complexity of a traditional hardware switcher.
The core of the facility is a single vMix production machine running 16 simultaneous inputs — a mix of in-stadium cameras, replay sources, graphics, and remote contribution feeds — paired with 6 LiveU channels for IP-based remote acquisition from the field, the locker room, the practice facility, and away-game locations.
Building the entire facility around vMix made the system flexible by design: every input, scene, and graphics overlay is software-defined, so workflows can be reshaped on a per-show basis without re-cabling. The same room handles live game-day broadcasts, studio shoots, and rapid social/digital content with a single operational model.
The architecture was specified, documented, and commissioned to broadcast standards — clean signal flow, redundant power and networking, and a LiveU contribution layer that scales globally for road games and special events.
